Some exciting news was announced this week in Bournemouth. This summer they will be trialing a scheme whereby you will be able to be married on Bournemouth beach, which up until now, has not been possible. A suitably decorated beach hut will be set up close to the sea wall, next to the cliff lift and will be available from May to September. This is something very new for this country and we are very lucky that Bournemouth Tourism has had the foresight to try it here first.
We are very lucky in Bournemouth and Poole that we have some beautiful local venues. The RNLI Lifeboat Collage in Poole is one of these and with it’s striking design and stunning views over the water it is I’m sure going to become more and more popular. If you are not familiar with the venue then why not go along to their Wedding Exhibition this Saturday 11-4pm and take a look. The event is organised by Melanie Kiani of Bellissimo Events and is sure to provide a wealth of information about the venue and weddings in general.
I was lucky enough to arrange the flowers for a wedding there in September last year and I was amazed at the space inside and the beautiful rooms where the ceremony and reception were held. The photographs here give you a taste of the style and atmosphere of the interiors and I can’t wait for the opportunity to arrange flowers there again soon.
